Three years ago, I made one of the most life-changing decisions of my life: I had gastric
sleeve surgery. At my highest weight of 296 lbs, I felt trapped in my own body—tired,
uncomfortable, and disconnected from the person I knew I could be. The sleeve was my
last-ditch effort, and it gave me the tool I needed to finally take back control of my
health.

The journey hasn’t been easy, but it has been worth it. I committed to running, strength
training, and fueling my body with purpose. Each step, each mile, and each healthier
choice brought me closer to the version of myself I always wanted to see in the mirror.

This year, I reached another milestone in my transformation when I had a tummy tuck
performed by the incredible Dr. Srikanth. His skill and care made the final step of my
journey possible—removing the skin that no longer represented who I am today and
helping me finally see the person I worked so hard to become.

The photos tell the story better than words. From struggling with my weight to proudly
crossing finish lines at races, from hiding in oversized clothes to standing tall with a
smile and a medal—I’ve come a long way. Today at 180 lbs, I am healthier, stronger,
and more confident than ever.

and celebrate every victory along the way. The road is not always easy, but I promise
you—it’s worth it. And I’ll forever be grateful to Dr. Srikanth for helping me close this
